ExMa­chi­na Aca­de­mic Press of­fers high stan­dard e­di­to­rial and pro­ofre­ading se­rvi­ces, DTP, gra­phic and typogra­phic de­sign, trans­lations, re­views and prin­ting. We co­ope­ra­te with best Po­lish prin­ting ho­uses whose se­rvi­ces are still com­pe­ti­tive in terms of price when com­pa­red to the Ame­ri­can or We­stern Eu­ro­pe­an ones and, at the same time, gu­aran­te­e qu­ali­ty. In ad­di­tion we offer mul­ti­me­dia for the Web, TV, DVD and other means of di­stribu­tion (we also pro­du­ce mo­vies in 4K) and e­lec­tro­nic pu­blications. We or­ga­ni­ze con­fe­ren­ces and offer media se­rvi­ce for va­rio­us types of me­etings.

Team & experts

ExMa­chi­na Aca­de­mic Press ma­in­tains strong ties with a­cade­mics in va­rio­us di­sciplines. Our team con­si­sts of se­veral Doc­tors of Phi­lo­logy, who are also suc­cess­ful young scho­lars wor­king at well-known Po­lish u­ni­ver­sities such as Uni­ver­sity of Si­le­sia and Uni­ver­sity of Lodz. We work with e­xperts and have the know-how in the fields of e­du­ca­tion (all le­vels), e-lear­ning, IT & media, com­mu­ni­ca­tion, cul­ture, psy­cho­logy, so­ciology, law and phi­lo­logy. Thanks to our team of pro­fes­sionals our pu­blications al­ways e­xem­pli­fy the hi­ghest e­di­to­rial and gra­phic qu­ali­ty and ful­fill all a­cade­mic re­qu­irements in terms of scien­tific stan­dards of pu­blication.

We have co­ope­ra­ted with va­rio­us pu­blic in­stitu­tions such as Uni­ver­sity of Si­le­sia, Ars Ca­me­ralis Fe­sti­val, Aca­de­my of Fine Arts in Ka­to­wi­ce, Ro­un­da­bout Gal­le­ry, and se­veral as­so­ciations and fo­un­da­tions. Our pu­blications were sup­por­ted i.a. by the Ame­ri­can Em­bas­sy, the Po­lish Mi­nistry of Cul­ture and Na­tio­nal He­ri­ta­ge and Uni­ver­sity of Si­le­sia. Being tru­stwor­thy pro­fes­sionals we are mem­bers of Po­lish So­cie­ty of Book Pu­bli­shers. Our close bu­si­ness part­ners are: 24Media Film Agen­cy, En­glish Lan­gu­age La­bo­ratory and EMINUS Knowledge Management.

International partners

We co­ope­ra­te with spe­cialists from Ca­nada, the Uni­ted Sta­tes and nu­me­ro­us Eu­ro­pe­an co­un­tries in the field of pu­blishing and or­ga­ni­zation of con­fe­ren­ces and scien­tific se­mi­nars. We have been co-or­ga­ni­zers of se­veral im­por­tant me­etings and con­fe­ren­ces, such as New Media Days with spe­cial par­ti­cipation of prof. Der­rick de Kerc­kho­ve (Ka­to­wi­ce, No­vem­ber 2008), Inte­riors with spe­cial par­ti­cipation of prof. Ali Beh­dad, prof. Ge­of­frey Davis, prof. David Pun­ter and prof. Er­hard Rec­kwitz (Ustroń, Sep­tem­ber 2008), He­arts of Dark­ness: Me­lvil­le and Con­rad in the Space of World Cul­ture—the main scien­tific me­eting du­ring the Tall Ship Races (Sz­cze­cin, Au­gust 2007) as well as se­mi­nars and work­shops such as A Whale of a Day. The Her­man Me­lvil­le's Day, a part of The World Book Day (Ka­to­wi­ce, April 2008) with spe­cial par­ti­cipation of prof. Lyon Evans or work­shops led by Der­rick de Kerc­kho­ve, David Jury or Paul Stiff. We con­ti­nu­e in­ter­na­tio­nal co­ope­ra­tion with scien­tists and a­cade­mics in the field of pu­blishing: we have just is­su­ed a book McLu­han's Codes. To­pogra­phy of New Media (in Po­lish). Cur­ren­tly we are pre­pa­ring The He­arts of Dark­ness (in En­glish) and the next book with prof. Der­rick de Kerc­kho­ve (in En­glish). Since Ja­nu­ary 2006 we have been co­ope­ra­ting with the In­ter­na­tio­nal Ame­ri­can Stu­dies As­so­cia­tion for which we pu­blish Re­view of In­ter­na­tio­nal Ame­ri­can Stu­dies (RIAS)—an on­li­ne a­cade­mic jo­ur­nal, well-known and ap­pre­ciated in the he­mi­spheric circ­le of Ame­ri­can stu­dies.

We are open to all a­cade­mic, pri­va­te and bu­si­ness part­ners and clients who would like to pu­blish books, jo­ur­nals, e-books or e-jo­ur­nals, pre­pa­re multi­me­dia or or­ga­ni­ze a con­fe­ren­ce with the help of our team and know-how. We spe­cialize in phi­lo­logy and li­te­ra­ry stu­dies, IT & media stu­dies, cul­ture stu­dies, an­th­ro­pology, so­ciology, in­ter­cul­tural stu­dies, law and e­co­nomics, as well as in e-le­ar­ning, yet we are not li­mited to these di­sciplines and eager­ly ac­cept new chal­len­ges. We are per­fec­tio­nists but we work qu­ic­kly. We are open to ne­go­tia­tions of the offer in order to sa­tis­fy spe­cial needs of our clients. All our servi­ces can be pro­vi­ded in En­glish. Ty­pe­set­ting and trans­lations are available in se­veral other Eu­ro­pe­an lan­gu­ages.
